Jason was born and raised in Shelbyville Tennessee. He was born in 1974 to Ronald and Norma Boyette. Jason graduated from Shelbyville Central High School in 1993 and Middle Tennessee State University in 1998. He earned his college degree in Elementary Education. He has lived in Bedford County all of his life and is very proud to call it home.

Jason is married to Shanna Boyette and they have two daughters, Kylie and Olivia. Jason is in his 21^st year as a teacher in Bedford County. He is currently teaching 5^th grade social studies and science at Thomas Magnet School. He loves teaching his students and watching them learn and grow. He especially enjoys running into his former students as adults.

In his spare time, Jason enjoys following his daughters as they dance on a competitive dance team. He loves to fish for bass or crappie. He watches all sports and plays fantasy football with old friends. Some of the leagues he plays in are 15 years old. Jason pulls for the Tennessee Vols, Middle Tennessee Blue Raiders, Predators and Tennessee Titans. He also attends many local high school sporting events.
